<p>About the Team:</p> <p>The Engine Manufacturing team is dedicated to delivering high-performance engines and advancing innovative manufacturing systems that continuously improve cost, quality, and lead time. You're not just executing on designs; you actively provide input that shapes new hardware iterations and regularly interface with engineers to make critical decisions for the Aeon R program. Having successfully developed and refined processes for our initial development engines, the team is now focused on producing flight engines at rate for Terran R's aggressive launch manifest.</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all shifts for the LP-DED Additive Production Team, ensuring that hardware is produced safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. </li><li>Hire, Develop, and Lead a team of LP-DED technicians, driving continuous improvement and rigorous training to enable production need. </li><li>Manage production WIP, maintenance, and schedules, driving high efficiency production and on-time delivery of critical engine hardware. </li><li>Collaborate closely with the engineering, specialists, and quality team to ensure all components meet strict quality control standards. </li><li>Advocate for new tools and improvements aimed towards improving production efficiency. </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments, with a focus on producing high-stakes, mission-critical hardware. </li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience in additive operations, additive manufacturing (powder-based preferred), and post-processing, specifically in a production environment. </li><li>3+ years of leadership experience managing and developing a technician team, ensuring team performance aligns with production, safety, and quality standards. </li><li>Excel at managing production schedules, optimizing workflows, and executing on targets. </li><li>Strong collaboration skills with cross functional teams, including engineering and leadership. </li></ul> <p>Nice to haves but not required:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering, or a related field, which provides a solid foundation in machining, manufacturing processes, or technical skills applicable to additive operations. </li><li>Experience operating or working with LP-DED processes or similar laser or powder-based additive processes. </li><li>Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and the ability to implement process improvements that drive cost savings and efficiency gains. </li><li>Previous involvement in new technology onboarding and integration. </li></ul>
