<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Food Service: General Worker</p> <p>Windsor Locks Public Schools</p> <p>South Elementary School</p> <p>Position Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Application Closing Date: Open until filled</p> <p>Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, is responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the complete operation as general Worker at North Street School. Consisting of cleaning pots & pans, serving the hot food to the students. </li><li>To assist the cook manager as instructed for the completion of daily menu adhering to established sanitation and safety guidelines. This includes food prep and service. </li><li>Proper cleaning and sanitizing of pots, pans, utensils, work tables and sinks. </li><li>Proper storage of food delivered to include assisting in receiving the weekly Sysco grocery order. </li><li>Ensure proper customer and client relations are maintained at all times. </li><li>Complete other tasks/directives as instructed and deemed reasonable by cook manager or food service director. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); previous experience preferred</p> <p>Working Conditions: 4.5 hours per day (Mon - Fri), 7:30am - 12:00 pm.
