Activities will involve performing verification, checking, delivering, pick up and inventorying assignments, using powered industrial equipment and motor vehicles to accomplish assignments. The Warehouse Specialist Level I must join and remain, in good standing, a member of SEIU 32BJ Collective Bargaining Agreement.</p> <p>Pay Rate: $35.85 / hour</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Essential Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Routes materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks, or palletizes materials in-accordance with prescribed storage methods, ensure locations are accurately noted in the inventory system. </li><li>Reorganizes and obtains inventory of stored material to identify discrepancies, etc. as directed. </li><li>Completes Work Orders and Debits to deliver and/or pick-up material at various locations. </li><li>Matches specific item documentation data such as nomenclature, stock or part number, letter and number codes, quantity and units of issue on containers and stock locations with those on receiving reports and various other forms. </li><li>Ensures all signatures and notations are documented on the MDAT's for pick up and deliveries </li><li>Understands and follows procedures for removing material from storage for shipment or issue in consideration to quantities, units of issue, and types of items shown on issue requests. </li><li>Schedule deliveries, responds to emails and answers the telephone as needed. </li><li>Perform various lower class duties such as (but not limited to) file, maintenance, workspace cleanup and maintain warehouse space. </li><li>Supports other department staff and or other trade groups as needed or directed. </li><li>Supports after hour move requirements for our customer </li><li>Supports a multitude of locations throughout campus. </li><li>Reports suspicious activity and items to the appropriate communications center. </li><li>Inspects docks for equipment operability, availability of supplies, and overall safety, and cleanliness. </li><li>Understand and executive accordingly various types of work tickets, i.e. Pull Orders, Excess Equipment, Local Moves, Furniture Excess, Cargo Ship, etc. Safely transfers and transports large items such as air handler systems, computer systems, etc. </li><li>Adheres to company safety and personnel policies and standard operating procedures. </li><li>Operate customer or company vehicles and/or other equipment in a safe manner. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Mandatory:</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent GED. </li><li>At least two (2) years of experience in the field of logistics, supply and/or warehouse experience performing similar work tasks. </li><li>At least two (2) years of experience operating all types of material handling equipment. </li><li>Ability to obtain prior to commencing work and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance. </li><li>Familiarity with record filling and property inventory. </li><li>Demonstrate competence with any of the following, i.e. pallet jacks, forklifts to 25K# capacity, Reach Trucks, Stackers, Pickers, tank skates, come long machines, stair climbers, and Roller Lifts </li><li>Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. </li><li>Mature judgment and ability to perform assigned work tasks with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to pass a pre-hire background and drug screen. </li><li>Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Possess current forklift certification </li><li>Experience operating X-ray equipment. </li><li>Possess am active intelligence community level clearance. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift 50 pounds or team lift of 75 pounds. </li></ul> <p>Disclosures</p> <p>Chugach Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
