This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and implement innovative solutions.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Forecast inventory using production schedules and project data, present impacts on Net Working Capital. </li><li>Identify and implement inventory and waste reduction strategies for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods. </li><li>Ensure timely completion of inventory reports for regulatory and customer compliance. </li><li>Develop long-term inventory strategies aligned with site growth. </li><li>Provide technical support for Warehousing and Logistics, including CAPEX and construction projects. </li><li>Collaborate with Plant Engineers to adopt new technologies and optimize logistics. </li><li>Develop and monitor KPIs for managed projects. </li><li>Coordinate with Procurement and QA to approve alternative packaging and reduce repackaging. </li><li>Manage contracts for Central Stores, third-party warehouses, and leases. </li><li>Support procurement of third-party services for operations. </li><li>Lead and support ESHS investigations and follow-up actions. </li><li>Mentor staff to strengthen ESHS culture within the department. </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, or related field. </li><li>Minimum of five years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing roles. </li><li>Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward shared objectives. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making. </li><li>Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. </li><li>Preferred experience with GMP, DOT, RCRA, SAP, and Six Sigma methodologies. </li><li>Establish and maintain effective collaboration with internal teams (Warehousing, Operations, Engineering, Compliance) and external stakeholders (customers, regulatory agencies, vendors, service providers) to support operational and compliance objectives. </li></ul> <p>The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
