<p>Digital Media & Technology Teacher West Springfield High School</p> <p>WSHS is seeking a dynamic, creative, and collaborative educator to teach a series of Digital Design and Video Production courses. This position offers students hands-on experiences in graphic design, photo editing, and video production, using industry-standard tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital media, strong technical skills, and a desire to engage students in project-based learning environments that reflect current practices in the design and production fields.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in Digital Design and Video Production </li><li>Facilitate skill-building in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) and video editing software </li><li>Support students in collaborative and independent media production projects </li><li>Develop and maintain a classroom environment that supports creativity, inquiry, and teamwork </li><li>Provide timely and meaningful feedback on student work </li><li>Manage equipment inventory and maintenance for digital media production </li><li>Participate in professional development and school community activities </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and support school initiatives </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop) and video editing platforms </li><li>Prior teaching experience in media arts, video production, or technology education </li><li>Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills </li><li>Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment </li></ul> <p>License Required: MA DESE Certification in Technology/Engineering (5-12) and/or Instructional Technology (5-12)</p> <p>Salary: Per Unit A Contract</p>
