We encourage our teams to connect on multiple levels and support each other's personal and professional growth.</p> <p>What you'll do</p> <p>As a Hydrogeologist, you'll be asked to take on dynamic projects and you'll be at the forefront of environmental science. You will also:</p> <ul> <li>Lead Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. </li><li>Dive into the complexities of soil, groundwater, sediment and vapor sampling. </li><li>Champion remediation planning and oversight. </li><li>Collaborate with senior staff to craft sampling plans, reports, designs, specifications and project analyses. </li><li>Engage with clients to provide or obtain critical data. </li><li>Maintain a thorough understanding of federal and state regulations to keep projects in compliance. </li></ul> <p>What it takes</p> <p>Ideally, you'll have a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology/Hydrogeology, Physical Sciences, Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering or experience in a similar field. You should have your 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and Professional Geologist or Professional Engineer license or be able to obtain it within two years of hire. You will also:</p> <ul> <li>Know how to use maps and other visual methods to describe and record hydrogeological data. </li><li>Have strong math, engineering, scientific and technical skills. </li><li>Manage your time efficiently. </li><li>Work in the field year-round, as needed. </li><li>Have experience with the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Agency. </li><li>Speak and write well. </li><li>Have strong analytical and organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>What you'll get</p> <p>You'll have plenty of opportunities to grow professionally at our progressive firm, which started in 1973.
