<p>Inventory Coordinator & Transporter (onsite)</p> <p>Position Summary/ Department Summary:</p> <p>Orders, receives, and distributes supplies, as well as maintains an inventory that allows for ready access to the needed materials. Provides efficient and safe transport of supply and equipment. Support Administration and clinics organizing supplies and maintaining the areas organized and other requests.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Orders, receives and distributes medical, office supplies, and/or equipment at MEHC. </li><li>Ensures the supply area is stocked in all the clinics and office areas, as well as assessing and improving flows of supplies. </li><li>Maintains an accurate inventory and addresses gaps in the inventory process in coordination with clinical staff. </li><li>Maintains a supply of linens and lab coats and ensures readiness of office equipment. </li><li>Provides safe and efficient transportation of inventory and mail to and from BCH locations. </li><li>Ensures needed materials and equipment are set up for clinic events. </li><li>Anticipates and coordinates maintenance needs for the van and office equipment. </li><li>Ensures all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate, and filed correctly. </li><li>Follows Hospital and MEHC policies and procedures. </li><li>Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the MEHC building. </li><li>Performs other duties as needed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>One year of supply chain, warehouse, and distribution experience required. </li></ul> <p>Licensure/ Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>Boston Children's Hospital offers competitive compensation and unmatched benefits including flexible schedules, affordable health, vision and dental insurance, childcare and student loan subsidies, generous levels of time off, 403(b) Retirement Savings plan, Pension, Tuition and certain License and Certification Reimbursement, cell phone plan discounts and discounted rates on T-passes.
