Coffee Creek Correctional Facility is seeking a dynamic Executive Support Specialist 2 to join our leadership team!</p> <p>This position is available for current regular status employees of the Oregon Department of Corrections, Oregon Corrections Enterprises, or Oregon Board of Parole, Probation, and Post-Prison Supervision.</p> <p>About the Job - Your Role</p> <p>In this pivotal role you will provide confidential, executive-level administrative support directly to the Superintendent, helping to ensure effective leadership, management, and supervision of Oregon's only women's correctional facility.</p> <p>In this position, you will be directly responsible for reducing the Superintendent's workload by anticipating immediate and future needs, intercepting, or redirecting work that does not require the Superintendent's immediate attention and communicating with stakeholders on their behalf. You will serve as a member of the Executive Management Team and frequently work with highly confidential and sensitive information. As such, it is critical that strict confidentiality is always maintained. You will also act as the back-up Public Information Officer for the facility and work closely with the Supervising Executive Assistant to coordinate and assist with media relations concerning Coffee Creek.</p> <p>In this position, you will play a critical role in keeping the Superintendent's Office organized, efficient, and professional. You will coordinate daily office operations, manage sensitive communications, prepare official documents, and serve as a key liaison between the Superintendent's Office, facility leadership, ODOC executive staff, and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing calendars, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, organizing official correspondence, planning events, and maintaining accurate, confidential records.</p> <p>You will support leadership initiatives, track critical deadlines, assist with documentation and reporting, and help ensure the office runs in a smooth and orderly manner.
