<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Wellness Center is looking to employ a licensed Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner in a 9-month capacity.</p> <p>The successful candidate, under the supervision/consultation of a physician, will provide healthcare to a diverse student population with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion in order to support student success. Duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of illness and injury </li><li>Physical examinations </li><li>Acute and well care </li><li>Health education </li><li>Mental health services </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care, with experience in the duties mentioned above. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>In addition to the aforementioned minimum qualifications, it is preferred the candidate also have:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in college health </li><li>Experience with provision of mental health services </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>This is an SL-4 position with a salary range of $68,000 to $72,000. </li><li>This is a term, college-year 9-month appointment. </li><li>The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours commitment. </li><li>This position offers full New York State benefits which are some of the most comprehensive in the country. </li><li>SUNY Cobleskill is committed to providing a safe and productive learning and living community for our students and employees.
