<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Van Drivers (Job ID 855)</p> <p>Working Conditions: 30-35 hours per week</p> <p>Summer hours required</p> <p>Benefit package available, including paid sick days, holidays, personal time and vacation time</p> <p>Hourly rate range of $18.00 - $20.00</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking responsible and reliable van drivers to transport special needs students to and from school. As a van driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our students while providing exceptional customer service.</p> <p>Major Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Safely transport special needs students to and from school </li><li>Observe CT motor vehicle laws and regulations </li><li>Maintain accurate records of daily routes, student attendance, and vehicle maintenance </li><li>Regular and consistent attendance </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Must be able to secure students in a seat belt or harness </li><li>Must be able to safely enter and disembark a van multiple times during the day </li><li>Must be able to move around the van to help students on an off the van </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a high school diploma or GED </li><li>Valid CT license with V endorsement or CDL with a P & S endorsement.
