<p>Description</p> <p>Power Squared Sales Trainee (Sales Rotational Program)</p> <p>Join the Hitachi Energy US Front End Sales Team early in your career and gain valuable exposure to various parts of a sales function. This program will rotate you to 3 different sales experiences in 18 months (6 months for each rotation) to give you a knowledge base that will continue to prove helpful throughout the rest of your career.</p> <p>Our Commitment:</p> <p>Develop future sales leaders with thorough understanding of sales management processes, customer engagement practices, leveraging marketing initiatives & sales tools across Hitachi Energy businesses.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Part of the M&S trainee program: Learn about the relevant business, offerings, service & product lines within the local sales unit. </li><li>Engage with LSM, supervisors, and mentors: Develop your sales skills and knowledge of various sales management processes. </li><li>Experiential learning: Work on assigned projects/KPIs, focus on partnering with key stakeholders, and deliver on required tasks. </li><li>Diversity + Collaboration = Innovation: Work in a collaborative environment that encourages all voices to share their unique perspectives and fuel innovation. </li><li>Core values: Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, take responsibility for your actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. </li><li>Account plan development: Contribute to and participate in the account plan development, understand local account strategy and sales tactics for alignment with customer requirements for mid and long-term strategy. </li><li>Maintain contacts: Work closely with the local/strategic account manager to maintain contacts and learn to build the player map in SFDC. </li><li>Solution portfolio: Gain a broad and deep understanding of Hitachi Energy's solutions and portfolio including digital, software, & services. </li><li>Segments and Channels: Understand the concept of segments and channels as applied in Hitachi Energy businesses in the local market. </li><li>Marketing: understand local marketing plan and actively participate in supporting the local team </li><li>Build and maintain relationships: Establishing connections with new clients and nurturing existing ones within the local unit </li><li>Identify and research local sales leads; support in maintaining SFDC pipeline, customer visit reports, understand regional / local market trends. </li><li>Engage with leads: Communicating with potential customers (internal and external) through calls, emails, or visits, often across different time zones. </li><li>Work towards sales KPIs as assigned by LSM; working jointly with sales teams striving to meet or exceed budget targets for country. </li><li>Document sales activities: Keeping records of sales and order details, often using CRM systems like Salesforce. </li></ul> <p>Your background:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (any degree focus) </li><li>Less than 2 years of working experience post-graduation </li><li>Technical selling aptitude </li><li>Strong drive to achieve targets </li><li>Fantastic communication and organization skills </li><li>Capability to build strong relationships </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities</p> <p>Protected veterans and qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
