From zoos and theme parks to museums, resorts, and immersive entertainment spaces, our work is seen (and loved) by millions.</p> <p>We're looking for a Logistics Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading from the front, and takes pride in keeping operations running safely, smoothly, and on schedule.</p> <p>Why You'll Love This Role</p> <ul> <li>You're hands-on, not stuck behind a desk </li><li>You'll lead, not just manage tasks </li><li>Your work directly impacts project success and delivery timelines </li><li>You'll play a key role in creating safe, efficient, and organized logistics operations </li><li>No two days look the same </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Be the go-to person for daily logistics success:</p> <ul> <li>Load and unload shipments with accuracy and care </li><li>Organize and maintain the yard, staging areas, and logistics tools </li><li>Plan, schedule, and prioritize work to hit production deadlines </li><li>Lead and support employees-coordinating daily tasks and helping evaluate performance </li><li>Improve logistics processes to boost efficiency, quality, and resource utilization </li><li>Optimize materials, equipment, and labor usage </li><li>Support hiring, training, coaching, and recognition of team members </li><li>Maintain accurate records (timecards, logs, inventory systems) </li><li>Review reports to identify issues, reduce costs, and prevent delays </li><li>Enforce housekeeping and inventory standards </li><li>Partner with Safety to ensure compliance with OSHA and all regulations </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <p>Education & Credentials</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree preferred </li><li>Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record </li><li>Industry-related certifications a plus </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of leadership experience in logistics, yard operations, or inventory coordination (preferred) </li><li>4+ years of related hands-on experience strongly preferred </li><li>Experience with hand tools, small power tools, and similar equipment </li><li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered </li></ul> <p>Skills That Set You Apart</p> <ul> <li>A natural leader who motivates and builds trust </li><li>Strong organizational and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent communicator-verbal, written, and interpersonal </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt </li><li>Comfortable reading blueprints, specs, safety rules, and procedures </li><li>Confident working with math, measurements, and technical diagrams </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience a bonus </li></ul> <p>Physical & Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>M-F, 7-3:30 PM </li><li>Active shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, fumes, and machinery </li><li>Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling (up to 90 lbs.) </li><li>Standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and balancing required </li><li>Overtime may be needed depending on project deadlines </li></ul> <p>COST of Wisconsin, Inc. is a leader in specialty construction, trusted by top destinations across the country.
