Ensure that the planned maintenance program procedures are being performed accurately and on a timely basis. Accountable to Facility Maintenance Manager and Superintendent.</p> <p>The position will be based in Denver, CO.</p> <p>Main responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Supervise the Building and Facility workforce in the accomplishment of the day-to-day assignments </li><li>Maintain PSM Data </li><li>Developing best practices, developing SOP's and improve documentation </li><li>Supervision of union maintenance clerk and oversee EAM </li><li>Conduct pre-shift meetings </li><li>Vendor management </li><li>Supervise the purchase of parts, tools and materials/supplies for the maintenance tasks as required </li><li>Partner with Risk Manager to review facility and MHE safety opportunities </li><li>Oversee the complex grounds for sanitation and maintenance opportunities to include but not limited to landscape, pavement and snow plowing and removal activities </li><li>Assist in the troubleshooting of equipment and facility system symptoms </li><li>Ensures associates have the equipment and tools needed to perform their work and assists them in securing the necessary information, equipment, and tools to address an equipment breakdown </li><li>Assists in the maintenance of company policies and contractual agreements </li><li>Develop productive associates through training, coaching, and mentoring (and discipline when necessary) to achieve company goals and objective </li><li>Maintain Engineering and Sanitation work schedules and planned maintenance schedules in the absence of the facility Maintenance Superintendents </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned, to include special projects </li></ul> <p>The salary range is $69,900 to $90,480 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).</p> <p>A copy of the full job description can be made available to you.</p> <p>What we are searching for</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required </li><li>3-5 years' experience in supervisory, management or lead person role </li><li>5-7 years' experience in the repair and maintenance of material handling equipment, conveyors, forklifts, sweepers/scrubbers, auto storage and retrieval systems </li><li>Possess good supervisory skills & the ability to work with and through others to achieve desired results </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Strong administrative skills to include PC skills (i.e., Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, CMMS) </li><li>Extensive experience in the repair and maintenance of material handling equipment (forklifts, conveyors, sweeper/scrubber, as/rs, building maintenance, plumbing, electrical, PLC's etc.) </li><li>Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration experience/ familiarity preferred. </li><li>Requires the analytical ability to handle administrative duties and mental alertness to ensure accurate, safe, and thorough completion of work activities. </li><li>Possess the ability to work under pressure and to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to climb stairs and ladders, and be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to work in multiple temperature environments from -20F degrees to +100F degrees. </li><li>Work is performed under typical warehouse conditions and maintenance shop environments </li><li>Potential hazards exist with regard to machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, mechanized systems, movement of tractors and trailers, etc. </li><li>Work environment is fast paced. </li></ul> <p>EQUIPMENT USED TO PERFORM JOB:</p> <ul> <li>Typical office equipment knowledge is required (PC, FAX, Scanner, Copier, 2-way radio, etc.) </li><li>Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and computerized maintenance programs. </li></ul> <p>What is it like at Albertsons?</p> <p>Our 290,000 associates have a passion for great service and building lasting relationships with our customers.
