MAs are expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.</p> <p>Be the person that makes the difference every day in our patients' lives.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Room set up and patient preparation </li><li>Taking vitals (Manual & Electronic) </li><li>Perform EKG </li><li>Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations. </li><li>Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing) </li><li>Pharmacology </li><li>Administrative duties </li><li>May perform or assisting with in-office procedures / treatments </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Education- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of accredited/approved: MA program and MA externship, MA internship, EMT, or Paramedic program. </li><li>Credentials/Licensure (Preferred): Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following certifying agencies: </li></ul> <p>American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)</p> <p>American Medical Technologists (RMA)</p> <p>National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)</p> <p>National Healthcareer Association (CCMA)</p> <p>National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA)</p> <p>American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)</p> <ul> <li>Related Experience- Minimum: In absence of completed MA Program/Externship/Internship, must have 2+ years clinical experience providing clinical support in community-based clinic and be subject to standardized testing and evaluation of clinical skills.
