<p>We're looking for a Construction Project Specialist to lead the project management and FF&E procurement process. This is a key role on our Development team that oversees critical pieces of the pre-construction process as we build out new stores in new markets. The role requires working independently in a fast-paced environment with a roll-your-sleeves-up mentality. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and documentation, partnering with architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to meet project timelines, creating solutions and recommendations for construction or renovation projects, supporting the bid process, developing and overseeing project trackers, monitoring project progress and risks, facilitating communication among stakeholders, managing project drawings and documents, coordinating utility and permit procurement, participating in construction meetings, and securing necessary certificates for store openings. Additionally, the role involves overseeing vendor procurement and management activities such as ordering furniture, finishes, and equipment, supporting billing processes, soliciting bids, reviewing proposals, negotiating contracts, managing supplier communications, and ensuring timely order fulfillment. Requirements include a minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate development, architecture, construction management, urban planning, or related fields, understanding of the development process, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position is remote but requires candidates to live within a Philz market in Northern or Southern California.</p>
