<p>Maintain all City parks and open space to ensure safe recreation. Maintain all park equipment.</p> <ul> <li>Mow lawn with riding mower </li><li>In the winter months it is on call, as needed </li><li>Perform snow removal with snowblower/broom and occasionally shovel </li></ul> <p>Additional duties as assigned:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain safety in the parks and around all City owned properties </li><li>Maintain all park buildings and properties, including mechanical, electrical and plumbing </li><li>Maintain beautification of parks and other City owned properties by performing refuse pickup, lawn care and landscaping </li><li>Maintain and prepare/groom ball fields for various league activities </li><li>Inspect and maintain all playground equipment, shelters, park shop, ice rink, trails, etc. </li><li>Perform preventative maintenance on all park vehicles and small equipment </li><li>Initiate safe work practices </li><li>Attend required meetings and training sessions </li><li>Communicate with local groups and school district regarding activities </li><li>Assist with special event setup </li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older </li><li>Valid Wisconsin driver's license with no restrictions </li><li>One to three years' experience in a related field </li><li>Knowledge of hand tools, riding lawn mower, gas powered trimmers, and blower </li><li>Ability to work weekends/holidays if necessary </li></ul>
