As a premier manufacturer in the commercial foodservice equipment industry, we are committed to quality, innovation, and a collaborative, team-oriented culture.</p> <p>The Production Planner plays a critical role in coordinating, planning, and optimizing manufacturing workflows. This position is responsible for developing production schedules, managing job releases, and tracking progress to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.</p> <p>This role works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to balance priorities, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with operational goals and delivery timelines. </li><li>Partner with manufacturing teams to actively manage and adjust production schedules as needed. </li><li>Monitor delivery issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions. </li><li>Analyze workflow data to identify bottlenecks and improve planning accuracy. </li><li>Maintain accurate data within Nieco's MRP system. </li><li>Evaluate availability of finished goods and components to support production needs. </li><li>Investigate order and delivery discrepancies; resolve MRP-related issues and implement preventive actions. </li><li>Stay informed of current production workload, priorities, and manufacturing processes. </li><li>Prepare job packets, including work instructions, drawings, and checklists. </li><li>Track, collect, and close production jobs on a daily basis. </li><li>Maintain documentation, including scanning and organizing completed test reports. </li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related technical field, OR 5+ years of relevant production planning/scheduling experience. </li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment with production scheduling responsibilities. </li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. </li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to balance both high-level planning and hands-on execution. </li><li>Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. </li><li>Proactive and self-motivated with a positive, solutions-driven mindset. </li><li>Ability to influence and support teams in meeting production goals. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). </li><li>Experience with Syteline or other MRP/ERP systems preferred. </li></ul> <p>Nieco is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EOE/M/F/Vets/Disabled) employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.</p>
