<p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>To instruct students in accordance with the educational philosophy, course objectives, and Curriculum of the District </li><li>To provide maximum learning opportunities for students in accordance with program objectives and each 'student's abilities, interests, and needs </li><li>To continuously develop his/her professional knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviors in order to improve the educational opportunities of his/her students </li><li>The Building Substitute teacher will be responsible for taking over the classroom instructional duties as well as specialists classes </li><li>Required to report daily when school is in session to the main office upon arrival at the school building. Meets with the appropriate Administrator for the day's assignment. </li><li>Maintain a positive learning environment while delivering instruction and implementing lesson plans in line with District's goals, policies and procedures for student achievement. </li><li>Maintains the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom to which assigned. </li><li>Supports students in whole class, small group and individual settings using various teaching methods </li><li>Adapts instruction delivery to best meet the needs of all students. </li><li>Supervises students to ensure their safety and welfare. </li><li>Follows and supports all District and school policies, rules, and procedures. </li><li>Maintains the confidentiality of the position including all student and school personnel information. </li><li>Other related duties as assigned by the building administrator. </li></ul>
