<p>Glastender, Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of bar and restaurant equipment, is accepting resumes for Materials Planner. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Materials Planner to support safe, accurate, and on-time production within our manufacturing operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials, documentation, and system data are aligned and accurate to meet customer demand and production schedules.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>As a Materials Planner, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Technical Service to maintain material availability, ERP system integrity, and bill of material (BOM) accuracy-especially in a custom manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support daily production by creating and distributing print packets and pick tickets, reviewing scheduling requirements, and expediting materials as needed. </li><li>Maintain and audit bills of material (BOMs), Finished Good Work Orders, and ERP data to ensure accuracy and material availability. </li><li>Investigate and resolve BOM and inventory discrepancies, including documenting adjustments and coordinating corrections across departments. </li><li>Manage cycle counts and support annual physical inventory to maintain inventory accuracy. </li><li>Coordinate custom order requirements by reviewing prints, updating BOMs, and collaborating with Engineering, Sales, and Production. </li><li>Monitor material levels and timelines to help ensure on-time production and customer delivery. </li><li>Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts within the materials function. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree in a related field preferred.</p> <p>Experience: 2-4 years of materials planning or related manufacturing experience preferred</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong computer proficiency (ERP systems, spreadsheets, databases, digital communications) </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions </li><li>Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills </li><li>Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn complex manufactured products </li><li>Experience auditing and maintaining BOM structures </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to perform root-cause analysis and document corrective actions </li><li>Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and perform basic math calculations </li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to assess processes and identify improvements </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Competitive wages and bonus program. </li><li>Excellent benefits package. </li><li>A people-first culture focused on safety, engagement, and continuous improvement. </li><li>A company that lives its values - integrity, quality, relationships, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Proudly Made in the USA, with the stability and excellence of a U.S.-based manufacturer. </li></ul>
