By providing data driven insights for strategic decision enablement, you'll help measure performance as well as identify & quantify business cases for enhancement.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Understand the card and overdraft collections business, including existing product features and strategy, various collections-specific performance metrics and terminology, and nuances of collections data </li><li>Perform detailed quantitative analysis using SAS/SQL and/or Alteryx to evaluate performance of new and existing collections strategies and product features </li><li>Identify opportunities to enhance existing strategy segmentation and product functionality, and translate analytics insights into actionable business recommendations </li><li>Analyze customer interactions and events across a variety of channels (calls, texts, digital) to better understand customer journeys and friction points </li><li>Develop business cases with financial sizing to support various product initiatives </li><li>Present analytics findings and recommendations to senior leadership clearly and concisely, influence stakeholders, and gain cross-functional alignment </li><li>Partner with technology and product to create data capture and storage requirements for existing and future initiatives </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities and skills</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science/Analytics, Engineering, Applied Economics, Management Information Systems and 6+ years of experience in Data Analytics or Risk/Business Strategy in Financial Services </li><li>Proficiency in SAS/SQL and/or Alteryx </li><li>Ability to leverage analytics insights to design risk or business strategies, and design/produce A/B testing analytics </li><li>Highly effective communication and storytelling skills and ability to bridge technical and non-technical audience and stakeholders </li><li>Knowledge of best practices within data visualization and user experience </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in quantitative or technical discipline </li><li>Knowledge and experience in credit card and/or retail bank businesses </li><li>Collections strategy and/or analytics experience </li><li>Experience in Digital or Omni-channel analytics </li><li>Knowledge of AI/ML use cases in financial services </li><li>Proficient using Agile methodology (Scrum or Kanban) </li></ul>
