This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation, improve performance, and partner closely with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams. You'll play a key role in bringing new packaging concepts to life while enhancing existing systems for efficiency, sustainability, and cost.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Lead packaging design, testing, and validation to ensure performance, quality, and compliance </li><li>Manage plant trials and collaborate with operations teams to implement new packaging solutions </li><li>Evaluate materials, suppliers, and processes to improve cost, sustainability, and performance </li><li>Develop and maintain packaging specifications, standards, and documentation </li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and packaging operations </li></ul> <p>Qualifications/Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field </li><li>7+ years of experience in packaging, manufacturing, or product development </li><li>Strong technical problem-solving and project management skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively across cross-functional teams </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or beverage manufacturing </li><li>Six Sigma, Lean, or APICS certification </li><li>Experience working with manufacturing or ERP systems </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments </li><li>Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds </li></ul> <p>#LI-onsite</p> <p>#LI-TH1</p> <p>Culture and Benefits</p> <p>Sazerac offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid time off, and more.
