<p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Leads the Software Engineering Community of Practice (CoP) by setting standards, sharing best practices, and providing guidance to software engineers embedded in product pods, fostering knowledge sharing, scaling common approaches, and advancing software engineering capabilities across the organization</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Define and maintain software engineering standards, practices, and frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across product pods</p> </li><li> <p>Lead workshops, training sessions, and office hours to foster knowledge sharing and ensure adoption of best practices</p> </li><li> <p>Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to software engineers, supporting skill development and effective delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to identify and scale common approaches and practices</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate deliberate practice initiatives and competency development across the Software Engineering Community of Practice (CoP)</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>? Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field</p> <p>? Five (5) years of experience in software engineering or related technical roles in complex, cross-functional environments</p> <p>? Proven expertise in establishing engineering standards, frameworks and best practices</p> <p>? Experience coaching, mentoring or enabling teams of software engineers or other practitioner networks</p> <p>? Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), coding best practices, modern engineering tools and cross-functional collaboration</p> <p>? Strong communication skills to convey engineering principles and practices clearly across diverse teams</p> <p>? Coaching and mentoring skills to develop capabilities and enable effective application of engineering standards</p> <p>? Strategic mindset to align software engineering practices with organizational objectives and outcomes</p> <p>JOB CONDITIONS:</p> <p>?
