<p>Activities and duties may vary depending on site-specific needs and daily work assignments. Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supporting the maintenance team with daily troubleshooting and repair of electrical, control, and communication systems in a 24x7 production environment. Systems include:</p> </li><li> <p>PLC systems including AB PLC5s, SLC500s, and Logix families (Micro, Compact, Control)</p> </li><li> <p>AB PanelView HMI and Wonderware SCADA systems</p> </li><li> <p>Various communication protocols including fiber optic and ethernet systems</p> </li><li> <p>480V electrical systems, including coordinated AC and DC drive systems (Parker SSD, Siemens S/G120)</p> </li><li> <p>120VAC and 24VDC control systems with industrial field devices</p> </li><li> <p>Leading and contributing to continuous improvement projects to help the plant achieve its safety, quality, service, and cost goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the capital improvement plan by planning, completing, and/or approving project deliverables.</p> </li><li> <p>The position will be tasked with working with and training other members of the maintenance team, driving root cause analysis, and improving technical documentation.</p> </li></ul> <p>NOTE: The physical requirements of this role may vary by location. A detailed listing of the physical requirements may be obtained from the local Human Resource contact or the site Occupational Health Nurse.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Permanent U.S. work authorization required</p> </li><li> <p>Technical degree in a field related to automation and controls engineering from an accredited university</p> </li><li> <p>2+ Years of experience in controls engineering within a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting control, communication, and electrical hardware systems including drives</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and associated software</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams in the Autodesk ecosystem</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred, but not required</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley drives, especially coordinated drive systems</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Parker Eurotherm drives is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience working on capital project team</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with project management is a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Wonderware Process Historian and SCADA systems</p> </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or other protected status.
