Apply your expertise in new ways to continue on the path of growth as a Machinist in Shrewsbury, MA.</p> <p>Expectations</p> <p>To excel in the role, you should:</p> <p>Machine parts to specifications, using machine tools, such as CNC lathes and/or CNC machining centers (horizontal or vertical).</p> <p>Set up, align and secure part-holding devices.</p> <p>Align and secure workpiece in a holding device, machine table or a chuck using fasteners and hand tools. Operating of a crane is often required when moving large/heavy components.</p> <p>Set up and adjust cutting tools. Monitor machine and cutting tool operation to ensure proper function. Adjust speeds and feeds as necessary.</p> <p>Read blueprints, set up sheets and part routings to get product specifications such as part dimensions and tolerances, set up instructions and sequence of operations.</p> <p>To succeed in this role, you will need:</p> <p>Vocational High School (Machining Technology) graduate or 3-5 years of machining experience</p> <p>Must be able to read, write and communicate in English</p> <p>We offer</p> <p>We offer a challenging work environment that values innovation and suits development-minded people who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.
