<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Community Education/Youth and Family Coordinator</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>8/7/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Community Education Campus</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Position:</p> <p>Youth and Family Coordinator</p> <p>Effective Date:</p> <p>August 25, 2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Indian Mounds Elementary/Early Learning at Washburn</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>8 hours per day</p> <p>5 days per week</p> <p>12 months</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Starting at approximately $71,000</p> <p>Required Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in education, recreation, human services or related field. </li><li>Three years experience planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating youth programs. </li><li>Supervision of staff; Hiring, training, disciplining, and daily supervision </li><li>Experience with children who have special needs; students with EBD (preferred) </li><li>Experience with families from diverse cultures (preferred) </li><li>Experience with school age child care (preferred) </li><li>Experience with Early Childhood and/or preschool </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, coordinate, and manage out-of-school-time programs at the elementary level including but not limited to Kids' SAFARI, Preschool SAFARI, Youth Development, Youth Enrichment and Service Learning. </li><li>Supervise all program staff </li><li>Participate in district's Youth and Family team </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Bloomington Public Schools offers a variety of benefits to help take care of employees' health and well-being.
