In this role, you'll partner with our Category Management and Pricing Systems teams to craft smart, data-driven pricing strategies that keep us competitive and aligned with market trends. You'll dig into performance metrics, spot opportunities, and fine-tune retail prices to boost revenue, grow gross profit, and deliver unbeatable value to our guests.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Identifying and championing pricing opportunities that promote Maverik's goals. </li><li>Promoting strong interdepartmental relationships through continuous collaboration with counterparts in Category Management to understand category roles, objectives, trends, and strategies. </li><li>Analyzing performance data to assist in the development of revenue and gross profit goals consistent with Maverik's growth objectives. </li><li>Analyzing and reporting on In-Store revenue and gross profit performance. </li><li>Partnering with counterparts in Pricing Systems to ensure that pricing opportunities are properly communicated and executed. </li></ul> <p>Role Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, or special projects. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Education</p> <ul> <li>Educational or professional backgrounds in fields such as Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Marketing, Category Management, or related disciplines are highly beneficial. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline preferred. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Experience</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence. </li><li>Introductory knowledge of SQL and R or Python. </li><li>Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams). </li><li>Experience with Google Looker preferred. </li><li>Natural tendency toward logical reasoning, strategic thinking, and problem solving. </li><li>Talented presenter with the ability to support and educate stakeholders with differing levels of understanding and data literacy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications: Team Member Leadership Skills</p> <ul> <li>Communicates clearly and respectfully with peers and leaders.
