<p>The Position</p> <p>The Lab Assistant supports the Quality Control team by maintaining the cleanliness of the chemical laboratories, equipment, and maintaining stock levels of inventory.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to closely follow written and verbal instructions </li><li>Ability to clearly and concisely document reagent preps using lab notebooks or controlled forms </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Maintains glassware for the lab </li><li>Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of work areas </li><li>Maintains stocks of lab supplies and materials, ordering consumables, reagents, and chemicals as requested </li><li>Follows safety procedures for chemical handling </li><li>Prepares solutions and chemical reagents for laboratory use </li><li>Executes training requirements, applies relevant SOPs and associated procedural guides </li><li>Perform tasks in a timely manner </li><li>Works collaboratively with others </li><li>Quickly communicates issues to senior staff and/or management and assist in finding resolutions </li><li>Maintains clear, concise, and accurate documentation and records according to Good Documentation Practices </li><li>Embraces cGMP requirements for all associated work </li><li>Remains flexible with changing priorities </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of a high school diploma </li><li>1 years' experience working in a lab setting </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree </li><li>Experience in a GLP or GMP environment </li></ul>
