<p>Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Site Administrator/Coordinator the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing services to patients within a correctional environment. The LPN delivers nursing care as directed by the Physician within the scope of the State Board of Nursing Practice for the LPN.</p> <p>Pay Rate: $24/hour</p> <p>Matching 401k</p> <p>Now offering PayActiv so you have access to the money you have earned before pay day!</p> <ul> <li>Respond and intervein to all emergency situations </li><li>Conduct Patient Intake paperwork </li><li>Verify and obtain orders for patient medication </li><li>Conduct Sick Call clinic </li><li>Order / maintain supply of patient medication from pharmacy </li><li>Administer medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations </li><li>Complete and document ordered treatments, patient care, and collection ordered labs </li><li>Assist provider with Chronic Care Clinic and Provider sick call visit </li><li>Monitor for, report and document changes in patient's condition </li><li>Accurately document all patient information, nursing care and interventions </li><li>Ensure daily nursing task are completed within prescribed timeframe. </li><li>Maintain patient confidentiality </li><li>Assist with training and orientation of new personnel </li><li>Follow QCHC policies, procedures & guidelines </li><li>Perform other job-related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Successful completion of an Accredited Vocational/Technical School</p> <p>Current and valid LPN or LVN license</p> <p>Current CPR</p> <p>Minimum of one year of clinical experience in a health care setting as an LPN.
