<p>Job#: 3026569</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Maintenance Planner (Mechanical / Electrical / I&C)</p> <p>Location: Remote</p> <p>Duration: 12+ Month Contract</p> <p>Start Date: ASAP</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>We are seeking experienced Maintenance Planners to support a large-scale nuclear facility restart project. This role will play a critical part in planning, scoping, and scheduling maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation & controls disciplines. The engagement is part of a multi-year restart initiative and offers long-term stability on a high-visibility project.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed maintenance work packages, job plans, and task sequencing </li><li>Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities </li><li>Scope work orders, estimate labor/materials, and identify required resources </li><li>Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure work readiness </li><li>Utilize Nuclear Asset Suite / Asset Suite tools to manage work planning activities </li><li>Support outage and restart planning efforts </li><li>Ensure work complies with nuclear, safety, and regulatory requirements </li><li>Provide input to scheduling teams and support schedule execution as needed </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of maintenance planning experience, preferably mechanical </li><li>Strong experience with Nuclear Asset Suite 9 </li><li>Working knowledge of NAMS / Asset Suite </li><li>Hands-on mechanical experience (pumps, valves, piping, rotating equipment, etc.) </li><li>Prior experience supporting nuclear or highly regulated environments </li><li>Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate with distributed teams </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience supporting nuclear plant restarts or major maintenance initiatives </li><li>Familiarity with NextEra Energy processes or systems </li><li>Experience working with scheduling tools (P6 exposure is a plus) </li><li>Electrical or I&C planning experience (in addition to mechanical) </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Remote position </li><li>12+ month contract with potential to extend </li><li>Multiple openings with staggered onboarding </li><li>Competitive rates aligned to project budget </li></ul> <p>Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
