<p>Position Details</p> <p>Position Information</p> <p>Position Title Assistant Professor Clinical Dentistry Faculty Department College of Dental Medicine Position Category Faculty Job Description</p> <p>The Lincoln Memorial University-College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM) is seeking Clinical General Dentistry Faculty at the LMU-Tower and LMU Community Care Clinics. The position reports to the Dean for Clinical Affairs and is responsible for supervising LMU-CDM students in the Centers for Excellence (CE) to provide care to their patient family.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree Teaching experience preferred Must have knowledge of dental practice operation Must be highly skilled in general dentistry Adaptable and motivated Able to work independently Team oriented Personable Qualifications Skills Required Education Required DDS or DMD Experience Required Experience in private practice where dentistry is performed. Work on the clinic floor 5 days per week, depending on faculty practice day</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>. Assist the staff, faculty, and administration in Knoxville to train adjunct faculty to achieve clinical calibration.</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>. Work with the dental assistant(s) and Clinic Care Coordinator and contribute to performance review evaluations in conjunction with the Dean for Clinical Affairs and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>. Coordinate with the Associate Dean for Faculty and Students for staff leave (vacation, medical) and clinic floor coverage</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>. Complete administrative reports as needed and all LMU-required employee training</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>. Track student progress and collaborate with Center for Excellence Attending Faculty and the Dean Clinical Affairs and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs on student deficiencies</p> <p>Job Duty</p> <p>.
