<p>Job Location:</p> <p>Corporate Indianapolis</p> <p>Job Description: The position is primarily responsible for overseeing the operational accounting completed by designated staff assigned to multiple mall properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the month-end and year-end close process for assigned staff and properties </li><li>Review staff journal entries, reconciliations and financial statements for completeness and accuracy </li><li>Distributes and/or explains financial statements and information to various parties including outside partners, lenders and internal personnel </li><li>Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts </li><li>Review and approve annual budget packages and monthly commentary prepared by staff </li><li>Overseeing financial statement audits for assigned properties </li><li>Communicate with multiple internal departments, as well as external contacts. </li><li>Coordinate property transitions (acquisitions, dispositions, etc.) </li><li>Participation in special projects, both routine and occasional, as assigned </li><li>Train and develop staff </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree with a major or concentration in Accounting </li><li>CPA preferred, but not required </li><li>Strong analytical ability and organizational skills </li><li>5+ years work experience in the accounting field </li><li>Effective interpersonal and communicative skills </li></ul>
