<p>Overview</p> <p>The Marketing Brand Specialist, Upright Deep Cleaners plays a significant role in the development and implementation for production innovation and marketing strategy for both new and existing products in the Upright Deep Cleaner category. The Marketing Brand Specialist will report to the Sr. Brand Manager and will assist with select projects and at times lead select projects. The candidate ideally will have experience with consumer program development, line extension development and sales, as well as leadership of cross functional teams.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support Global Product launches</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as the Voice of the Consumer on cross-functional and Global product development (GPD) teams. Actively participate in GPD teams, including leading minor GPD or MR projects, completing GPD deliverables, and supporting timelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Structure new products and derivatives in the BISSELL systems and update and maintain product and claims matrices.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead packaging and user guide execution (art direction, photography direction, copy development and claims process), partnering with outside and inside team members/agencies.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage request and tracking prototype and finished samples.</p> </li><li> <p>Commercialize new, existing or derivative products:</p> </li><li> <p>Develop, update and lead execution of go-to-market materials (packaging, user guides, point of purchase material, nonworking display, product videos, a+ content, demo content, etc.), partnering with outside and inside team members/agencies and manage timelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage updates in BISSELL system including product maintenance (i.e., product Obsolescence Forms, Product Request Forms, inserts, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>Lead conversions by writing instructions, submitting in the system and coordinating the ordering of materials as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Marketing & Business Reporting: Lead Monthly Business Reporting and support the Annual Business Review and Marketing Plan development.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead consumer promotion and merchandising activities and participate in collaboration with Finance and Sales in conducting promotion financial analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Actively collaborate with Sales to define assortment, distribution plans, pricing, promotions, sales training and other relevant events.</p> </li><li> <p>Support customer meetings by participating in sales presentation development, presenting and leading product demonstrations.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand the consumer, competitors, market and business, perform data analysis and measurement.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct strategic analysis regularly, define conclusions and make recommendations.</p> </li><li> <p>Gain a basic understanding of business financials and drivers.</p> </li><li> <p>Present to internal teams, agencies and customers</p> </li><li> <p>May be required to perform other duties as assigned.</p> </li><li> <p></p> </li><li> <p></p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES</p> <ul> <li>Functional/Technical Expertise </li><li>Self-Management </li><li>Delivers Results </li><li>Managerial Courage </li><li>Global Business Acumen </li><li>Leaning Versitlity </li><li>Judgment and Decision Making </li><li>Coninuous Improvement </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</p> <ul> <li>Degree minimum: Bachelor's degree </li><li>Specific concentration: Marketing </li><li>Experience level: 3-6 years </li><li>Preferred experience: Digital Marketing </li></ul> <p>WHAT'S NEXT, APPLY NOW!</p> <p>BISSELL is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, ethnicity, disability, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, sexual orientation, age, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law</p>
