These values - integrity, patient-centered, respect, accountability, and compassion - must guide what we do, as individuals and professionals, every day.</p> <p>Under the direction of the plant operations manager, the housekeeper ensures a clean and odor-free building.</p> <p>EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <ol> <li>Cleans and/or disinfects all hard surfaces and room furniture, including bed frames, dressers, nightstands, over-bed tables, television, etc. Dust mops the entire room with a focus under beds, chairs, and other furniture. Wet mops the entire room, including the bathroom, after sweeping and picking up loose particles. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="2"> <li>Cleans and disinfects bathroom sink, mirror, and toilet, base of toilet, commodes, paper, and soap dispensers. Ensure paper towels, soap, and toilet paper dispensers are full. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="3"> <li>Consistently checks the walls for cleanliness and that they are free from damage. Washes walls, windows, and other surfaces as needed. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="4"> <li>Collects and empties trash. Moves trash cans and other items to sweep behind, cleans, and disinfects trash containers. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="5"> <li>Checks the sharps disposal container to make sure it is not full and empty when needed. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="6"> <li>Reports any missing, or broken, items such as tv remote, phone, lights out, etc., to maintenance. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="7"> <li>Completes the cleaning and disinfecting of rooms after discharge. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="8"> <li>Periodically rechecks and touches up rooms as needed. </li></ol> </li><li> <ol start="9"> <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ol> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Minimum of 6 months of related experience preferred.</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS</p> <p>Must know how or to be able to learn how to clean and run machines properly.
