<p>Students will work with faculty mentor to conduct research as outlined in URSCA award. Students must have received an URSCA award for the 2025-2026 academic year.</p> <p>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Gathering, compiling, cleaning and/or entering data </li><li>Assisting with transcription and/or coding of qualitative data </li><li>Assisting in programming, coordinating, and conducting survey research, focus groups and other data collection efforts </li><li>Cleaning and analyzing data </li><li>Assisting in producing, cleaning, and analyzing data files </li><li>And producing summaries of data from data sets. </li><li>Assists with department's social media posts and digital signs </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent education </li><li>Must be a current UVU student </li><li>Must have received a URSCA grant.  </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Good telephone, email, and customer service skills </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Professionalism </li><li>Organizational skills </li><li>Computer skills (Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) </li><li>Good work ethic/self-motivated </li><li>Ability to be a team player </li><li>Ability to interact and communicate in person and on the phone with college </li><li>students </li><li>Willingness to try/learn new things </li><li>Knowledge of Facebook and Instagram and other social media </li></ul>
