Succeed. #BeHere</p> <p>Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.</p> <p>This job is ON - SITE.</p> <p>FTE: 1.000000</p> <p>Shift: Shift 1</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Enrollment and attendance in second year of program will serve in a state of Wisconsin approved apprenticeship program to gain on the job learning with classroom instruction paid by Froedtert to become highly skilled performing mechanical and electrical duties to keep machines and equipment in working order. This position will assist more experienced maintenance team members with the diagnosis and repair of more complex issues and systems. For less complex issues and systems, the Apprentice will have autonomy to complete tasks with supervision. Work is subject to progress evaluation and final inspection. The Apprentice is expected to follow all safety rules, communicate both written and orally and document work activities as needed.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Successful completion of the Mechanic Intern phase.</p> <p>EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Ability to complete Maintenance Technician State of WI certified Apprenticeship program and meet the ongoing requirements of the program. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.</p> <p>TRAINING DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
