Assists with the care of hospital patients by performing various routine patient care activities and related non-professional services. Provides interval and constant observation of patients.</p> <p>EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <ol> <li>Demonstrates appropriate interval and constant observation intervention. </li></ol> </li><li>1.1 Remains in visual contact with patient as required. </li><li> <ol start="2"> <li>Reports any changes observed in patient's condition, behavior and/or verbalization immediately to Registered Nurse/Manager. </li></ol> </li><li>2.1 In an emergency, uses phone system to call for assistance. </li><li> <ol start="3"> <li>Collects and records data. </li></ol> </li><li>3.1 Assists patients with the use of bedpan, urinal or to the bathroom if permitted. Gives, removes, cleans, and replaces bedpans/urinals. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION</p> <p>High school graduate or equivalent.</p> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Healthcare related experience or education preferred.</p> <p>LICENSURE</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>SPECIAL SKILLS</p> <p>Shows maturity in interview process. References state applicant to be responsible and considerate, good communication skills.
