<p>Director of Total Rewards</p> <p>The Director of Total Rewards will be responsible for the strategy, design, implementation, and management of the organization's comprehensive total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, HRIS, and compliance. This leader will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company's rewards strategy supports business objectives, attracts and retains top talent, and enhances the overall employee experience. This role will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and lead a team of four.</p> <p>In addition to owning the total rewards function, this role will provide HR Business Partner support for key corporate functions including Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Marketing, as well as serve as the HR workstream lead for M&A activities.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Total Rewards Strategy & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of compensation and benefit programs that align with the company's talent strategy and financial goals. </li><li>Ensure all total rewards programs are market-competitive, cost-effective, legally compliant, and aligned with employee needs. </li><li>Manage annual compensation processes including merit reviews, incentive plans, salary structures, and benchmarking. </li><li>Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefit programs to improve employee engagement and retention. </li><li>Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and performance management for benefits and other reward-related partners. </li></ul> <p>HRIS & Process Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the HRIS system, ensuring it supports strategic HR initiatives and delivers accurate reporting and analytics. </li><li>Drive continuous improvement and standardization of HR processes through technology, automation, and best practices. </li><li>Support end-users to deliver an exceptional employee experience through training, application support, and knowledge management. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Governance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and HR practices. </li><li>Maintain accurate employee records and manage reporting for regulatory compliance including EEO, FMLA, ADA, ACA, and Workers' Compensation. </li><li>Develop and lead required compliance training initiatives. </li></ul> <p>HR Business Partnership & Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Act as a strategic HR advisor to leaders in corporate functions; consult on organizational design, performance management, and talent planning. </li><li>Serve as the HR lead for M&A due diligence and integration efforts, particularly as it relates to compensation, benefits, and systems alignment. </li><li>Partner with the RPO on salaried exempt and non-exempt recruitment and workforce planning. </li></ul> <p>Organizational Development & Culture</p> <ul> <li>Support and reinforce company values through recognition programs, rewards initiatives, and employee experience strategies. </li><li>Play a leadership role in culture-building efforts, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and change management programs. </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership</p> <ul> <li>Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals responsible for benefits, compensation, HRIS, and compliance. </li><li>Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and operational excellence within the HR function. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; MBA or HR certifications (e.g., CCP, CBP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred. </li><li>8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with deep expertise in total rewards, ideally in a manufacturing or similarly complex environment. </li><li>Demonstrated success managing compensation, benefits, and HR systems at a strategic and operational level. </li><li>Experience supporting M&A activity is highly desirable. </li><li>Strong working knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulatory requirements. </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and data-driven mindset. </li><li>Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders. </li><li>Skilled in project management and process optimization. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>High integrity and a proactive, collaborative working style. </li><li>Ability to lead and inspire teams through change and transformation. </li><li>Travel expected to be approximately 5%. </li></ul>
