Learn how you can start or jumpstart your career with us.</p> <p>Lean Automation Program Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of lean automation initiatives within the Qnity operations footprint. This role combines principles of Lean manufacturing with an understanding of automation and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to improve processes, eliminate waste, and enhance efficiency. This role will work closely with the Automation Technology Leader and the Automation Capital leader to execute the program initiatives.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Project Leadership: Manage lean automation projects from conception through implementation, including budget management and resource allocation.</p> </li><li> <p>Process Analysis: Analyze current processes and workflows to identify opportunities for automation and lean improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, engineering, quality, and finance, to ensure alignment and successful execution of projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Lean Methodologies: Apply Lean principles such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, and Six Sigma to optimize processes and drive improvements.</p> </li><li> <p>Automation Strategy: Develop and implement a strategy for automation implementation that aligns with business goals and optimizes existing processes using appropriate tools and technologies.</p> </li><li> <p>Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs to measure the success and effectiveness of lean automation initiatives, providing reporting to stakeholders.</p> </li><li> <p>Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies within the organization.</p> </li><li> <p>Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization related to automation and lean practices.</p> </li></ol> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Educational Background: Bachelor's in Engineering required; Master's degree in Engineering preferred </li><li>Professional Experience: People and Technical program leadership experience with a minimum of 10 years (preferred) in both continuous and discrete </li></ul> <p>manufacturing environment, focusing on program management and lean manufacturing</p> <ul> <li>Leadership Skills: Proven ability to influence all organizational levels and demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a diverse team environment with respectful collaboration is essential. </li><li>Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of Lean methodologies and tools.
