The full salary range for this position is designed to provide employees with the opportunity to progress and grow within their positions and reflects the competitive market value for these positions across the national market. GBLI, also offers a total compensation plan including bonuses for all positions.</p> <p>Typical annualized starting salary range for this position:</p> <p>$100,200 to $150,000</p> <p>This range reflects base salary only and is not inclusive of bonus potential and other compensation considerations as it relates to the role</p> <p>Essential Duties & Functions</p> <ul> <li>Managing and delivering multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets </li><li>Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management, using standard project management and Agile methodologies </li><li>Leading high performing project teams that are aligned with the project goals and objectives and that understand how the project relates to corporate strategic goals </li><li>Facilitating communication across departments and resolving roadblocks, ensuring everyone works toward common goals. </li><li>Providing strategic, big picture thinking, and thought leadership on projects to materially influence outcomes </li><li>Providing regular project updates and status reports to executive stakeholders, communicating risks, issues, and progress effectively </li><li>Proactively identifying and mitigating risks or issues that may impact project timelines or quality </li><li>Managing vendor relationships and ensuring deliverables meet contractual obligations and quality standards and participating in the development of contracts/SOWs </li><li>Ensuring compliance with the organization's IT governance, SDLC System Development Life Cycle, and change management policies throughout the project lifecycle </li><li>Tracking and managing project budgets, ensuring financial control and adherence to project objectives </li><li>Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT project management function </li><li>Building and maintaining relationships with key project stakeholders and acts as a trusted business advisor </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in IS, CIS, or Business Administration and at least 3 years of project management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>5+ years of professional experience in IT or business; P&C Insurance industry experience preferred </li><li>Demonstrated success in leading complex projects from initiation through closure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Expert knowledge of Agile project methodologies and traditional Waterfall approach </li><li>Capable of developing detailed project plans, Gantt charts, managing scope, and adapting to change </li><li>Strong leadership presence with ability to influence and interface with senior business executives </li><li>Leadership and relationship building skills with the ability to lead a diverse project team to achieve common goals </li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders </li><li>Proven relationship-building skills to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration </li><li>Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges </li><li>Adept at risk assessment and creative in developing contingency plans. Data-driven mindset to utilize project metrics and make informed decisions </li><li>Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, and Jira </li><li>Demonstrated expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and a deep understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure </li><li>Experience with vendor relationship management </li><li>Completed PMP, Agile, Scrum or other relevant project management certification highly desirable </li><li>Prior experience in a technical role (e.g., software development, etc.) desirable </li></ul>
