Valley Blvd. Unit #100, San Gabriel, CA 91776</p> <p>Compensation: $21.00 - $24.00 / hour</p> <p>Description</p> <p>We are currently seeking a highly motivated and bilingual Medical Assistant to join our dedicated cardiology care team. In this role, you will support our medical providers in delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Reporting to the Medical Office Manager/Site Administrator, you'll play a key part in ensuring a smooth clinical workflow and a positive experience for every patient we serve.</p> <p>Our Values:</p> <ul> <li>Put Patients First </li><li>Empower Entrepreneurial Provider and Care Teams </li><li>Operate with Integrity & Excellence </li><li>Be Innovative </li><li>Work As One Team </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Assists physicians, nurses, and other medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician </li><li>Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records </li><li>Clinical duties may include, such as preparing a treatment room for patient exams, recording patient medical history, and cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment </li><li>Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in the patient's chart </li><li>Interviews patients to obtain their medical history </li><li>Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files </li><li>Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational skills in a fast-pace environment </li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Be able to prioritize workload while remaining flexible </li><li>May be required to work overtime to meet tight deadlines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in Spanish and/or Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin) </li><li>Two (2) or more years of experience working as a Medical Assistant </li><li>Active and unrestricted Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in California </li><li>High school diploma or GED </li></ul> <p>You're Great for This Role If You Have:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality following HIPAA </li><li>Demonstration of mature judgment </li><li>Attention to detail, organized, ethical, and reliable </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous and friendly manner </li><li>Prior Cardiology experience </li></ul> <p>Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Our organization follows an in-person work structure where the expectation is to work onsite at Southern California Heart Center, located at 506 W. Valley Blvd. Unit 100, San Gabriel, CA 91776. </li><li>The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday standard business hours (8:30am - 5:00pm). </li><li>The total pay range for this role is $20 - $24 per hour.
