<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Sales Director - Gas Segment is responsible for leading strategic sales efforts, market and new product growth, and customer expansion for the company's Gas Segment product lines. This role develops and executes commercial strategies that strengthen market position, expand key accounts, and achieve annual revenue and margin goals. The Sales Director will collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to ensure the company delivers high-quality, technically sound solutions aligned with customer needs and industry standards.</p> <p>Primary responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement strategic business plans for driving growth to include development of business cases, target markets/customers, financial expectations, resource requirements and delivery model. </li><li>Work closely with Engineering to develop a new product development pipeline for the Gas segment and participate actively in the new product development process. </li><li>Participate in formulating long and short-term goals and objectives for the sales organization and organization at large. This includes corporate initiatives of participating in acquisition identification and execution, and product development to achieve growth objectives. </li><li>Maintain and expand core business as well as strategically identify and build new business. Build and foster senior level relationships with key accounts. </li><li>Serve as leader, coach, mentor and motivator to sales organization. </li><li>Responsible for determining and implementing pricing strategy for products/business segments with close collaboration with finance that incorporates Control Devices current 80/20 business model strategy </li><li>Manage and improve sales processes to maximize profitability of sales. Direct sales activities and set performance goals accordingly. </li><li>Maintain competitive information, market knowledge and technology trends. </li><li>Interact extensively with engineering, finance, quality and manufacturing. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years progressive B2B industrial/manufacturing sales experience with at least five years sales leadership experience. Prior experience with flow control valve products preferred. </li><li>Mechanical aptitude to work closely with engineering, manufacturing and quality organizations. </li><li>Strategic thinker with proven analytical and collaboration skills to adapt strategy to changing market conditions and organizational growth opportunities. </li><li>Proven ability to manage, coach and motivate outside sales organizations. </li><li>Undergraduate degree required.
