<p>Opportunity: Lifeguard</p> <p>Promote the safety and well-being of guests utilizing the pool facilities in accordance with established guest service and sustainability standards.</p> <p>Potential Career Path</p> <p>Lifeguard Supervisor - Recreations Manager</p> <p>Essential Job Functions</p> <ul> <li>Monitor guest activity in pool area to ensure safe use of the pool. </li><li>Apply and enforce pool rules and regulations consistently. </li><li>Assist distressed swimmers in emergency swimming situations. </li><li>Coordinate emergency procedures and provide first aid in emergency situations as trained and authorized. </li><li>Respond to guest inquiries and provide resort information upon request. </li><li>Perform general maintenance and care of facilities and equipment as requested. </li><li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM's EarthView program. </li><li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. </li><li>Perform other duties as requested by management. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>American Red Cross Lifeguard Licenserequired. </li><li>Previous lifeguard experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment and Context</p> <ul> <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends. </li><li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. </li><li>Work area contains exposure to chemicals such as chlorine and other water purification chemicals. </li></ul> <p>What We Believe</p> <p>People Are Our Capability - Hearts That Serve - Only Excellence - Stay Nimble - Own It</p> <p>Source: HHM Hotels</p>
