<p>Job Title: Medical Office Assistant</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join our team as a Medical Office Assistant in a welcoming and collaborative cardiology office. You will play a vital role in scheduling patients, managing phone inquiries, and assisting with insurance verifications.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Schedule patient appointments efficiently. </li><li>Answer phone calls and provide excellent customer service. </li><li>Assist with verifying insurance information for patients. </li><li>Utilize electronic health records to maintain patient information accurately. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in medical office operations. </li><li>Experience with electronic health records, preferably Epic. </li><li>Ability to schedule patients effectively. </li><li>Strong communication skills for handling phone inquiries. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in cardiology settings is beneficial. </li><li>No license necessary for this position. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is located in a moderately busy cardiology office with a team of three full-time providers and two part-time providers. The office operates with a friendly and team-oriented culture, seeing patients every 15 to 30 minutes based on provider schedules. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
