This position is responsible for effectively and proactively implementing techniques for planning, coordinating, and reporting on the daily activities of the inspections and advanced expediting of equipment suppliers, component manufacturers, and construction sub-contractors.</p> <p>The SQS Coordinator reports directly to the Manager of Supplier Quality Surveillance for Life Sciences North America. while maintaining an indirect connection with the SQS Manager and Project Manager for the assigned project.</p> <p>Bring your curiosity, passion for innovation, and talent for multi-tasking in a?fast-paced environment and we will help you grow, pursue and fulfill what inspires you - so we can make big impacts on the world, together!</p> <p>Some responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>As an overall Project SQS Coordinator, use critical thinking and problem solving to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project's SQS efforts </li><li>Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools </li><li>Evaluate project and equipment schedules and coordinate the assignments of 3rd party inspectors accordingly </li><li>Review 3rd party inspector qualifications to ensure they are up to date prior to assignments. Maintain qualification documentation in the project repository </li><li>Act as liaison between the 3rd party inspectors and the Jacobs Work Package Owners for the relevant equipment orders </li><li>Provide access to project documentation for the 3rd party inspectors. This may include specifications, P&ID's, procedures, etc. </li><li>Track effort hours from both 3rd party inspectors and advanced expeditors against the project budget. Calculate and report required Estimates To Complete (ETC) for hours needed to complete the scope of work </li><li>Attend project expediting meetings. Identify targeted needs for shop expediting. Assign SQS Engineer or Technician to fulfill these project needs </li><li>Review reports from both inspectors and SQS engineers for completeness, then distribute reports to relevant stakeholders, and file in the project repository </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of project experience in lieu of degree </li><li>5+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management </li><li>2+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred </li><li>Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills. </li><li>Must possess strong communication, organization, and management abilities. This position involves the coordination of multiple activities across multiple projects </li><li>A drive to solve complex and challenging problems </li></ul> <p>Please note: This position is Hybrid and will require to be in an office 2 days a week at either location that you reside closes to</p> <p>Ideally you'll have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills. </li><li>Must possess strong communication, organization, and management abilities.
