<p>Job#: 3022369</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Job Title: Quality Assurance Consultant III</p> <p>Location: Charlotte NC/ Addison TX/ Jersey city NJ</p> <p>Duration: 12 Months</p> <p>Payrate: $55.00 - 60.42/hr</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Interview process: Video - 1 or 2 rounds</p> <p>Hybrid schedule requirement of a minimum of 3 days per week</p> <p>Ensures the testing strategy and processes are well-defined and continuously improved for the team or teams. Able to handle multiple QA teams and cross functionality.</p> <p>Establishes a test and automation strategy, creating common test frameworks, defining and managing test processes including test data generation, defect management and reporting.</p> <p>Creates and optimizes test processes including defect management and reporting. Contributes to building quality into the SDLC using best practices and tools. Creates a test automation strategy across the application stack (UI, API, and Backend, etc.).</p> <p>Creates and optimizes test automation frameworks and use of test automation tools. Leads test planning for complex features that span across the platform or multiple teams.</p> <p>Ensures alignment and sign off for test cases from business and other stakeholders. Optimizes test suites employing techniques such risk-based testing. Manages test execution and assists with resolving, communicating or escalating any issues that may result in test plan variance.</p> <p>Contributes to test data management approach, processes and tools. Conditions and generates test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments.</p> <p>Reports issues and defects along with the appropriate background information for review. Participates in triaging reported issues/defects and assists with resolving or escalating them as necessary.</p> <p>Creates and manages traceability. Traces tests forwards/backwards through the development lifecycle and back to requirements. Uses testing tools and follows processes to complete testing in a given test environment and assists with fulfillment of necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environments.</p> <p>Primary Skill: Oracle Exadata</p> <p>Secondary Skill: Automation Testing</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Strong ETL and Database Query building skills</p> <p>Experience with Test Automation, scripting and Regression testing.</p> <p>Experience with defect management systems such as JIRA.</p> <p>Waterfall and Agile methodologies</p> <p>Working knowledge with QA automation tools such as Selenium, TOSCA, QTP</p> <p>Functional Knowledge of Swift, payments domains</p> <p>Desired Qualifications</p> <p>8 or more years of hands-on experience in reference data space, especially for Client Onboarding highly preferred</p> <p>Proven experience with ALM, JIRA, qTest and Automation Tools</p> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systems</p> <p>Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to convey messages to a broad audience</p> <p>Ability to work in a cross functional, collaborative team environment</p> <p>Seeking out best practices to find opportunities for improvements in test execution process</p> <p>Top 3 Skills</p> <ol> <li> <p>ETL Testing Oracle Exadata</p> </li><li> <p>Test Automation - Java, Selenium</p> </li><li> <p>Informatica, Hadoop, API</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred skills/experience</p> <ol> <li> <p>ETL testing with Agile delivery</p> </li><li> <p>Past BOA QA experience</p> </li><li> <p>Test Automation Tools</p> </li></ol> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
