<p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed. </li><li>Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. </li><li>Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. </li><li>Accurately report daily activities on work orders and Kan Ban cards and other media as required. </li><li>Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment. </li><li>Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. </li><li>Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor/Area Leader. </li></ul> <p>Education and Training</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/GED required. </li><li>Prior welding experience, required </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to pass 2G MIG welding certification test. </li><li>Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment </li><li>Must follow all safety practices and policies. </li><li>Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li>Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp </li><li>Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing </li><li>Lifting and carrying up to 50lbs </li><li>This is not a comprehensive list of duties.
