<p>Job Title: Environmental Project ManagerJob Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead and participate in a diverse range of site-development, transportation, energy-related, climate adaptation, and resiliency projects. The role involves managing permitting projects at various levels with proven success, preparing permit applications, scientific reports, and environmental impact statements.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Effectively coordinate field work and provide direction and support to technical staff. </li><li>Interact professionally with clients, stakeholders, and contractors. </li><li>Manage budgets, invoicing, accounts receivable, schedules, and subcontractors. </li><li>Support the preparation of proposals and cost estimates. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Environmental compliance and remediation experience. </li><li>Minimum of a bachelor's degree in environmental science, natural resources, biology, ecology, planning, or related field. </li><li>5 to 15 years of post-degree environmental permitting experience, preferably in New Jersey. </li><li>Familiarity with NEPA documentation including ENFs, EIRs, CATEXs, EAs, and EISs. </li><li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. </li><li>Excellent verbal and technical communication skills. </li><li>Ability to maintain a positive attitude under aggressive schedules. </li><li>Experience in report writing and preparation of clear and concise documentation. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with sustainability and climate adaptation planning. </li><li>Familiarity with socioeconomic and environmental justice analysis. </li><li>Ability to travel as required for project demands and business development. </li><li>Direct experience with NJDEP, USACE, and other federal and state permitting agencies. </li><li>Knowledge of New Jersey regulatory agencies and environmental protection programs. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days a week required in the office. The position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to execute complex projects across the country from eight office locations in North America.
