Days expected to be away from work must be previously coordinated with the onsite Project Controls Lead.</p> </li><li> <p>Resource is expected to be well-versed in Microsoft Excel and other database-driven platforms, and to expeditiously learn the ins and outs of the established client cost workbook to…</p> </li><li> <p>Support cost controls team with field validation and reconciliation of invoiced amounts</p> </li><li> <p>Support cost controls team with field validation and reconciliation of earned progress</p> </li><li> <p>Support cost controls team with detailed evaluation and scrutiny of all potential change orders and associated justification data, and recommendation of proper funding source</p> </li><li> <p>Support cost controls team with active gathering of cost data pertinent to monthly cash flow analysis and forecasts</p> </li><li> <p>Support cost controls team with potential recovery should field progress be misaligned with forecasted expenditures</p> </li><li> <p>One measure of success will be timely and accurate maintenance of a change order (CO) log including, but not limited to, resulting agreed-upon CO amounts evidencing rejected and/or reduced CO values, in support of monthly issuance of completed cost reports, Executive Summary Reports (ESRs), and cashflow analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Resource must be able to quickly integrate into the client organization's existing project controls and construction management teams</p> </li><li> <p>Resource must be able to clearly and succinctly communicate project cost status and identify areas of concerns as well as potential cost savings alternatives</p> </li></ul> <p>EEO Employer</p> <p>Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
