<p>Impact</p> <p>The Senior Ponce Banker II serves as a senior advisor within the branch, providing advanced financial solutions to clients contributing towards our strategic goals. This role plays a key part in business development, knowledge sharing, and operational efficiency to drive the branch's success.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Senior Ponce Banker II is responsible for delivering high level customer service, handling complex financial transactions, and supporting business development efforts within the branch. In partnership with Branch Management, they oversee operations and achieve sales goals while ensuring operational efficiency. Additionally, this role provides mentorship and training to junior staff, assists with escalated customer concerns, and ensures compliance with banking regulations. The Senior Ponce Banker II actively participates in facilitating internal control measures, community</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ol> <li> <p>Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing customized financial solutions.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, conducting outreach, and follow ups, including calls and visits to provide value added services.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in resolving escalated customer issues with professionalism and efficiency.</p> </li><li> <p>Establish new accounts, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Employees may be required to work at different branch locations based on business needs, including temporary or permanent transfers.</p> </li><li> <p>Process monetary transactions and electronic services while encouraging digital adoption.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide advanced support in branch cash operations, including opening and closing branch vaults and managing shipment, ensuring compliance with cash management policies</p> </li><li> <p>Support community development by attending events and networking initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Generate referrals independently and partner with other departments to drive cross-functional success and client satisfaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Serves as a secondary support to Branch Management by verifying reports and overseeing daily operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a point of contact and manager on duty for branch related matters in the absence of branch management.</p> </li><li> <p>Train and mentor junior staff to enhance overall team performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Utilizes company mandated CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and sales tools to track client interactions, manage sales pipelines, and support business development efforts in alignment with organizational goals</p> </li><li> <p>Complete all assigned training programs by the designated deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure full compliance with branch security and banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.</p> </li></ol> <p>Ancillary Functions</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assures adherence to Bank policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides cross-functional support to other areas of the department and the Bank where service or assistance is needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.</p> </li></ol> <p>Mandatory Training Curriculum</p> <p>Training is required of all Bank staff as related to regulatory mandated compliance topics and courses required for specific job functions. Career enhancement training courses are also available. Please refer to course catalog and management for details.</p> <p>Competencies (refer to Competencies Library)</p> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Clearly communicates in English, Spanish is helpful </li><li>Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills </li><li>Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills </li><li>General knowledge of retail banking procedures and regulations </li><li>Knowledge of banking regulations </li><li>Moderate PC skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office software </li><li>Self-motivated with a demonstrated aptitude and desires for sales </li><li>Comfortable with technology: Smartphone, Online Banking, Remote Desktop Capture, ATM etc. </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands/Working Conditions</p> <p>The physical and related demands described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job is mostly sedentary in nature but may occasionally involve lifting files and other materials that weigh up to 20 lbs. Employees in this job must be able to work in an office environment during regular business hours</p> <p>where they come into regular and frequent contact with internal and external customers and other members of the public. Therefore, employees in this position are expected to have consistently positive interactions with the public.</p> <p>Education/Training</p> <p>A high school diploma, or equivalent, with an emphasis in a business curriculum.</p> <p>Experience</p> <p>A minimum of Five (5) years' related experience normally required</p> <p>Salary Range</p> <p>$44,220 - $55,270</p> <p>Ponce Bank participates in the E-Verify program.</p>
