Communicates tactfully and effectively. </li><li>Valid Driver's License and ability to maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record. </li><li>Have and maintain acceptable background information, including criminal conviction history. </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>No preferred qualifications. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>Working towards or completed High School diploma, or GED. </li><li>No experience required. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISION</p> <p>Supervision Received: Water Resources Operations Supervisor</p> <p>Supervision Exercised: None</p> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Physical and Mental Effort: Ability to perform a wide range of strenuous, physical work in a high-altitude outdoor environment with exposure to a variety of weather conditions and requiring frequent standing, walking and kneeling for extended periods of time. Upper body strength to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities that permits the employee to communicate effectively in person. Sufficient vision or other powers of observation and manual dexterity that permits the employee to operate all required equipment. </li><li>Work Environment: Works in a high-altitude, outdoor environment with an exposure to a variety of weather conditions. Employee must live in employer-provided accommodations at Silver Lake Watershed Monday through Friday, or as otherwise negotiated. Silver Lake Watershed is 13 miles from Nederland, CO, which is the nearest town. Employee sleeps in shared co-ed bunkhouse and has access to shared co-ed bathhouse. Employee works an eight (8) hour shift each day. Employee carpools between Boulder and Silver Lake in a city vehicle at the start and end of the work week.
